Solidarity with the Prairieland Defendants

On July 4, 2025, roughly a dozen people participated in a demonstration at the Prairieland Detention Center, a facility imprisoning immigrants facing deportation proceedings. When the police responded, gunfire erupted, with one officer reportedly being injured. Today, nineteen people—some of whom apparently neither participated in the demonstration nor set foot anywhere near the Prairieland Detention Center—are accused of “providing material support for terrorism” as well as rioting, carrying an explosive, firearms, attempted murder of a federal employee, and other charges. Eighteen of them remain in jail. On March 13, 2026, nine defendants were found guilty on most counts during the Prairieland Trial. They are all facing decades in prison. Show solidarity with these defendants by hosting letter writing, info sessions, noise demos, and fundraisers.
