Car-stopping gun in development
The scientists over at Eureka Aerospace are busy inventing a radiation gun that will disable any vehicle with a microprocessor (most modern cars). They have a lot of the statistics and charts and such online. Of course, this technology is being developed for cops, and could be available to law enforcement in as little as a year.
James Tatoian, CEO of the Pasadena, California based company, says that in as little as 2 years it should be down from 200lbs to 50lbs and have a range of 600 feet. According to some notes we found, there is also hope for military applications and these war-profiteers have contracts from the marines and have received grants from the National Institute of Justice.
