A short essay exploring how anarchism has always been at odds with civilization. This is primarily earnest, but is a slightly tongue-in-cheek attempt to address the mind-boggling stupid essay anarchism vs. primitivism that still seems to be making the rounds.

Anarkhism versus civilization? Anarkhism IS civilization. Civilization is not what we have now, not at all. Okay, I don’t enjoy outhouses anymore than most people, but indoor plumbing IS NOT civilization! No one starving or homeless or not educated up to their capacity No one free to be the best they can be, and profit more important than love is NOT civilization. I’d rather have diarrhea in an outhouse in a snowstorm.
